I have owned a Poulan Twist N' Edge for over 5 years and it is quite an ingenious product. The Twist N' Edge is so useful and is a big time saver. The integrated metal guide by the cutting head helps you simply rest the trimmer on the edge of a curb or sidewalk for a perfect edging job. Push the button, flip the edger head with a movement of your wrists (imagine putting a hula-hoop on the end of a broomstick and making it loop round and round - that movement) and you are in trimmer mode. A truly great product. I have never had mine serviced and have never replaced anything and it still runs like a charm. A little tough to get started, especially after sitting all winter, but once you get it started, if you need to turn it off to go inside for a drink, when you come back out it will start right up with one or two pulls max. The no-tap centrifugal force-powered line head is very cool and always doles out the perfect length of line. There is a small learning curve on the line head...
