we bought the Arden post along with one of Gibraltars heavy duty mailboxes. The mailbox was great...the Arden post is a piece of crap. The mailbox wobbles back and forth when you touch it. the cross-beam mount is made out of cheap plastic. It was very cold one day and I went out and the crossbeam was cracked. very unimpressive. I would not get this again.
