We purchased this pool at a local box store. After the first rainstorm of the year, the GFCI box (plug) on the filter pump stopped working (because it had water in it!) and the pump is non-functional. We called the manufacturer only to find out that the pump is not warrantied against rain.(?!) They do not sell replacement plugs. The only way for us to fix the pump problem is to purchase a new pump at $39.99 + tax and shipping!

If the ground is not perfectly level, you end up with folds in the liner that catch water under the ring, outside of the pool water leading to mosquito breeding grounds. After any precipitation, we have to go out and straighten the folds to remove excess standing water. Kids leaning on the side of the pool, or stepping in and out by lowering the floating ring causes a waterfall of pool water.

For $75, we've probably gotten our money's worth out of it for the summer, but it certainly is designed as a "throw away" unit rather than a quality...
